I live in Cambridge but I’m from Peru (yes, the beautiful country in South-America). I like cats and rock music. I believe in justice and equality.
-
My Typical Day:
I have quick standup meetings every day to stay synced with my team, then I grab some coffee before starting to write new code for the EGA Platform. I spent most of the day coding and testing applications. When done, I try to relax for a moment and then either go playing the guitar or training Taekwondo for a while. It’s important to maintain a balance between intellectual and physical activities.
-
What I'd do with the prize money:
I would start a divulgation channel in youtube where I can talk about science and the work being done at the EMBL-EBI so young people in Peru and other South-American countries can be attracted to bioinformatics.
