I live in Cambridgeshire in a house in the countryside. I love being able to go for long walks round the local Nature reserve, you always spot a new creature or flower! Sometimes I help with gardening there or creating new habitats for animals.
I also enjoy Springboard and highboard diving in the evenings and also teach children how to learn to dive.
I also like to paint pictures.
-
My Typical Day:
I get up early to start in the lab. I warm up the food for the stem cells and look at them under the microscope to see how they are growing.
I would spend most of the day in the lab running experiments and may have to attend talks and meetings about new scientific discoveries. In the afternoon I spend time on the computer looking at results from experiments, planning my next experiments and sending emails to other scientists.
