Education:
I grew up in Malaysia and went to English-Malay speaking primary and secondary schools. I came to the UK in 2014 to do my undergraduate degree at the University of Bath. I then went to rainy Wales to do my Masters degree at Cardiff University.

Work History:
I worked at Oxford Gene Technology, a molecular genetics company, for a year as part of my undergraduate degree. I also worked as a barista at Costa throughout my masters, which was really fun and challenging!

Current Job:
I am currently working as an Advanced Research Assistant at the Wellcome Sanger Institute in Cambridge. I work on using mini-intestines derived from stem cells to study the role of certain genes in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

Hello! I’m a research assistant from Malaysia. When I’m not in the lab, I’m either cooking or baking. I love to listen to all genre of music and am always up for a boogie!
