Current Job:
My work at Sanger mostly involved development of cancer genomic data analysis pipelines and algorithms. Currently I am working on genomic analysis of cancer Organoids to understand and complement a bigger picture of underlying biological processes in cancer.

I am Bioinformatics Scientist at Wellcome Sanger Institute, Hinxton Cambridge, I work on analysis of cancer genomes using Organoid models(small group of cells grown in lab which mimic an organ in human body) to understand and complement a bigger picture of underlying biological processes in cancer.
I like trekking and exploring forest trails and wildlife. -

My job involves use Computer to understand Biology, it is very interesting to design computer programs to find hidden secrets in the cancer cells. My work will help to understand how different cancers are developed and eventually find prevention and cure for some of them.

My Typical Day:
My day starts early in the morning with brief run of 30min. Dropping my son to school and start my commute to work on bicycle or campus bus.
Check all the email as first thing on the desk and take note of it and prioritise my work accordingly.

I had various jobs in mind however I wanted to be a plant Biologist.
