      Scarily yes! My current work uses heart scans from a huge database of volunteers, and in one case that was giving me some real trouble (it was very different from all the other cases I had) we took a look at the scan and he had heart disease.
      Heart disease is a very broad term for lots of different things that can go wrong with a heart, but I have definitely come across a fair few in my work recently.
      It should be said though that I myself do not diagnose the patients, the people in my study will have been told by the relevant professionals long before their data gets to me.
