• Question: How has corona affected you work?

      Hi Emilio!

      COVID-19 hasn’t affected my work much. Because everything I do is on a computer, I’m working from home, and will probably carry on doing this for the rest of the year. I’ve been having a lot of video calls with people I work with and sending lots of emails so we all stay in touch. Some of the people I work with are doctors in Europe, and they have been really busy so some of my projects are moving slowly since I need input from them, but there’s always heaps to do so this hasn’t been too bad.

    Hi Emilio,
    Unfortunately, COVID-19 has had a pretty big impact on my work – I’ve not been able to work in the lab, and I have had to cancel my fieldtrip to Uganda to collect samples. Instead, I’ve been working on analysing my data and writing up my results so far. The labs will reopen soon, so I will get back to my experiments, and hopefully will be able to go on fieldwork next year!
