      Motor neuron diseases are disease that affect the nerves that connect the brain to the muscles and allow for movement through the contraction of these muscles. One common form is amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (or ALS) in which the motor neurons die progressively throughout the patient’s body and leads to the loss of ability to move, breathe, eat etc…
