Hi Javier! A virus is a very small microbe that can cause disease. Viruses technically aren’t alive until they find a host cell. Once they attach to host cells in another living thing, they can multiply. A disease is the illness can be caused a result of a virus attaching itself to cells in the body. Sometimes people might call a disease caused by a viral infection a ‘virus’, but technically, a virus is the thing that causes a disease. Hope that helps!
