Hi Eva, throughout secondary school, when we started studying biology properly, I was fascinated. I loved being able to understand how cells work and explain things like disease. I knew then that is what I wanted to do. By the time I was applying to university I still considered medicine because I wanted to help people, but looking after patients was too much of a responsibility and that made me decide for biology.
