      Hello MayaK,

      That’s a really good question and quite a relevant one for me at present as the project I’m working on is coming to an end.

      In some ways it’s hard to answer as there are so many interesting projects out there and so many areas of science that sound quite cool and fascinating.

      Personally I’m looking towards project management as I have found that quite interesting in my current role. Being able to take on a project based on something we have found in one of the mice and working with external collaborators to relate it to human patients who have a disorder caused by the same gene has been fascinating.

      I have quite enjoyed that follow-up with our initial data, particularly if we are able to find a good model for a human disorder which might then go on to be used for drug discovery.
